Some Details about Tynon

Let’s come back to the era of chivalry. A dark wizard has possessed the King with a spell and casted shadows over the entire kingdom with dark magic. Wicked goblins ravage the land, and malicious queens plague the city. Thirteen kingdoms as well as their master are in dire condition. Luckily, the elite knight Rosaline is determined to save the King and rebuild the kingdom to its former glory. And he needs your participation and help. Welcome to Tynon.

Tynon is an upcoming hybrid title that blends elements of role-playing, action, city-building, strategy and social into a unique experience. The most important features in the game include single-player adventure, PvP combat, city-building and player interaction.

In it, players will embark on the adventure (sounds like the usual quest system in role-playing games), as they travel across the realm, recruit different heroes, battle monsters and gain gold, gems, resources and XP. At the outset, 13 levels will be set for exploration, with overall 100 levels promised for players to level up characters. It’s highly likely to have turn-based combat that involves strategy and tactics in battles, which is assumed from the teaser trailer but needed to confirm yet.

Players will have their own cities to build, upgrade and customize. Accordingly, resources and coins are needed and predictably earned from questing. Conflict around resources is one of the reasons why players fight against each other. Besides, players can also get resources by visiting friends’ castle, typical in social games on Facebook.

Tynon is launching on both Facebook and web browsers. Official site is set up but almost blank, except the date of 07-04-2012 is listed. What is it, beta or launch? We will see.
